I have experience analyzing a wide variety of environments and can also apply ergonomics principles to environments that are not listed below:
· Home and office computer workstations
· Built environment
· Research laboratories
· Laboratory animal care
· Pharmacy and Clinical care
· Early Childhood Education Centers
· Dining
· Housing
· Custodial
Virtual and in-person assessments for home and office computer work areas and non-computer work environments. Applicable for individuals and groups.
Zoom and in-person trainings for computer and non-computer work environments; discuss ergonomics risk factors, illustrate safe body mechanics to reduce the risk factors (job specific) and have participants practice the new techniques in relation to their specific job tasks to create an effective learning environment.
Review architectural drawings for new construction and remodels to offer ergonomics design criteria for the computer and the non-computer built environments. Provide input on proposed equipment and furniture, as needed.
Companies and individuals are often uncertain how to make the best selections for task chairs, stools, adjustable tables and more. Decisions based solely on cost typically fall short of the mark. By incorporating ergonomics design criteria into the cost and quality of the selections, the furniture and equipment will fit a wider range of people and reduce ergonomics risks.
